The KSS Robotics Turtle Off Season FTC Event has three focuses:

• Educate and inform the public about FIRST and skills learned from FIRST competitions

• Give FTC teams an opportunity to learn from teams

• Have a fun time playing with robots and talking about technical skills 

The Turtle Friendly will be held on August 3rd 2024 at Central-Hower High School 123 S Forge St, Akron, OH 44308, it will feature presentations by teams and a robot game (Centerstage for this year). Prizes for the Winning alliance and Finalist alliance .  Every participating team gets a bag of fun and useful stuff. If you have any questions contact Tiny Turtle or Tackle (at) kssrobotics.org.

11:30a - 12p Team Lunch - Free Pizza!

12p - 2p  Robot game matches

2p - 2:30p  Break

2:30p - 3:30p Robot game

3:30p - 4:30 Alliance selection and finals

Parking/Location Information

Park in the Central-Hower/National Inventors Hall of Fame Parking lot.  Enter door 25.  Gym is the first door on the left. 

Food

Coffee, tea, donuts will be available in the morning

Pizza for lunch - Vegetarian, dairy free and Gluten free will be available

Let us know if you have any food allergies.  We will have most common allergies covered but let us know so we have the appropriate quantity.
